Nyala began as a single question: how much presence can one piece carry before it stops being jewelry and starts being architecture? The answer took eleven prototypes.
One ribbon, one rotation
The form is a single band of gold taken through a full twist. Because the section changes as it turns, the piece reads as a broad polished plane from the front and a blade-thin edge from the side. Nothing is welded, nothing is joined — the silhouette is one continuous move.
Weight where it matters
Substantial in the hand and weightless on the ear. The mass sits low in the curve, so the piece hangs true and stays put through a long evening.
Made in small runs
Each run is finished by hand in 18k gold vermeil over recycled sterling silver. Small batches mean the pieces sell through — and that the next run is never quite identical.
